This is how I make my first 100$ as a lost college student

Making your first $100 is always special (atleast for me) But the journey to actually hit that mark is not as easy as a few handfuls of people make it.

I still remember it was the peak of lockdown in March 2020, my college lectures were almost transitioned into online zoom classes and it was a really strange situation to be in. I was getting comfortable with using all these online tools for the first time.

Suddenly I was left with nothing much to do for the whole day except sit idly and attend the boring classes for 6 hours a day. This was making me mad, to be honest.

One day I was scrolling my Instagram feed and suddenly an affiliate marketer’s story ad popped up. I was intrigued by his idea of making 500 USD a month by sitting at home. I never heard of such a thing previous and the amount was really big for someone who hasn’t made a single rupee in his entire life till now.

I quickly signed up myself and went through the process. Who knew at the moment that I stood up to go down the rabbit hole of the online making money world. I paid the initial amount, geared myself up, and started doing whatever they were telling me to do.

I wouldn’t say that it was a fraud scheme or something like that which I was lucky enough to not fall into that trap, but it wasn’t something that was sustainable too.

Days went I learned more and more about this world and with time I started to see results and I made my first 25 USD in life. I was extremely happy on that day that I ordered myself a bucket of ice cream and enjoyed it with my family members. This way I climbed up to making 100 USD in a span of 2 months. I know this is slow but I was still happy with everything. And this happened to me after selling courses within the community. The model was typical like MLM schemes running in the market but pretty transparent.

I did that for 3 months but then slowly I started to realize that whatever I was doing I wasn’t making any real progress in life. I was away from actually building any skills and I was just fluttering around for a while.

I thought to quit that thing and then my actual journey began in the world of social media, content creation, etc.

Since then it’s been around 2 years I am into this domain, tried a bunch of things, failed a lot, met a lot of new people online, and earned a bit of money as well and the experience is something that I will never forget in life.

So this was my mini no bluff story of getting into the money-making world and being here since then to explore even more and to continuously get better at what I am doing and would be doing in the foreseeable future.

I hope you enjoyed this one and if you did, do click to hit that follow button. This would be enough for me.

Cheers!
